My husband proposed to me during dinner at Davio's which we shared on the sidewalk cafe in front of the restaurant, and we have been back several times. Our dinners seem to keep getting better. We think this is the best Italian restaurant with little touches like genuinely hot and crispy bread with an Italian blue-cheese spread and a bean spread that are wonderful; crunchy green salads with roasted peppers and artichoke hearts; an abundance of fresh herbs in all the foods they prepare; and that wonderful pinapple-coconut tiramisu.
